ADHD evaluation in Pennsylvania

Dr. Nitin Sheth, MD
Psychiatrist

If focus, follow-through, or restlessness has been getting in the way of school, work, or home — for you or for your child — you don't need ADHD already figured out before you book. Sorting that out is part of what a first visit is for.

Children, adolescents, and adults are seen by secure video, usually within days.

In children and adolescents.

Difficulty staying with a task, losing materials, interrupting, or needing to move when others can sit still. Schoolwork that takes far too long, or doesn't get turned in even when they understand the material.

In adults.

Chronic disorganization, unfinished projects, missed deadlines, restlessness, or a mind that jumps before a task is done.

Some people were never evaluated as children. Others were treated years ago and need medication management continued in Pennsylvania.

A visit.

ADHD can overlap with anxiety, depression, and sleep problems. A visit is where that gets sorted out — whether ADHD is present, whether something else fits better, or whether more than one condition is contributing.

When you ask, notes go to your PCP and therapist.

Anxiety, depression, and sleep-related concerns are treated here too — see everything we treat.

Do I need an existing ADHD diagnosis to book?

No. People book both for a first evaluation and to continue medication management after prior care. Whether ADHD is diagnosed, and what treatment is appropriate, is decided in a visit — not by this page.
