Anxiety treatment in Pennsylvania
If worry, panic, or a body that will not settle has been running the day — for you or for your child — you don't need the right label before you book. Sorting that out is part of what a first visit is for.
Pennsylvania patients are seen by secure video, usually within days, including children and adolescents.
How it can show up.
Worry that does not turn off. Trouble sleeping. Muscle tension. A sense that something is about to go wrong even when the day is ordinary.
Some people get sudden waves of panic — heart racing, shortness of breath, a need to leave. Others mostly feel it as restlessness or a tight chest.
Avoidance and follow-through.
Canceling plans, putting off work or school, or structuring the day around what might trigger a spike. Social situations that get smaller over time.
A visit.
Anxiety can overlap with ADHD, depression, OCD, and sleep problems. A visit is where that gets sorted out — whether an anxiety disorder is present, whether something else fits better, or whether more than one condition is contributing.
When you ask, notes go to your PCP and therapist.

Do I need an existing anxiety diagnosis to book?
No. People book both for a first evaluation and to continue medication management after prior care. Whether an anxiety disorder is diagnosed, and what treatment is appropriate, is decided in a visit — not by this page.
