Trauma-related care in Pennsylvania
If sleep, mood, startle, or a sense of still being in it has lasted after something overwhelming, you don't have to have a PTSD label — or a therapist already lined up — before you book. Sorting out what psychiatry can help with is part of what a first visit is for.
Care is by secure video for Pennsylvania residents, usually within days. Medication management is coordinated with therapy.
How it can show up.
Nightmares or broken sleep. Feeling on guard. Irritability. Numbing out. Avoiding places, people, or conversations that bring it back.
Some people have a clear event. Others have a stretch of years that never got named.
Alongside therapy.
Trauma-related symptoms are treated here in coordination with therapy — not instead of it. Psychiatry can address sleep, mood, and related symptoms while a therapist does the trauma-focused work.
If you do not have a therapist yet, that can be discussed in a visit. It is not a reason to delay booking.
A visit.
Trauma-related symptoms can overlap with depression, anxiety, insomnia, and ADHD. A visit is where that gets sorted out.
When you ask, notes go to your PCP and therapist. This is not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger, call 911.
Depression, anxiety, and sleep-related concerns are treated here too — see everything we treat.
In-network. Don't see your plan? Call (267) 996-9382.
Do I need a therapist before I book?
No. You can book without one. Trauma-related care here is psychiatric evaluation and medication management in coordination with therapy — Zeva Care does not provide trauma therapy itself. If you already have a therapist, notes go to them when you ask.
